Engage Students in Community Meetings

Community meetings foster connection, communication, and collaboration. They provide a structured way for students to greet each other, express emotions, and share experiences, helping teachers better understand student needs.

These meetings create a sense of belonging, encourage active participation, and provide insight into students’ well-being, allowing teachers to offer timely support.

  1. Develop Norms and Procedures.
  2. Start in the Morning or at the Beginning of Class.
  3. Keep it Short (5-10 minutes).
